Artist Bio
Camilla Jerome (she/her) is an interdisciplinary artist from Massachusetts. Her photographic, installation, text, and video work spans from autobiographic and documentary imagery to private performances to experimental camera-less photography. Her self-revelatory practice is always on the emotional edge, a form of therapy, a form of art, and a profound journey inward. Jerome’s work explores the intersections of disability, visuality, time, beauty, and gender.
Camilla is an Adjunct Professor of Photography in Boston, MA. She holds an MFA from the Rhode Island School of Design, a BFA from Lesley Art and Design, and is a member of Boston's artist collective, Recently.
Camilla is available as a visiting artist, guest lecturer, and juror.
