CAMILLA ANNE JEROME

Patient

I was fifteen when the pain came silently in the night. But now that we’ve gotten to know one another, it was here long before. Across layers of grief and guilt, I search for more than just answers to endless questions. Dismissed by each doctor as pleasure is overshadowed by my condition. Step into the darkness, leave the light, and allow your eyes to adjust and see what others refuse to recognize. I am here and I will wait.
